A material research institute and high-end alloy manufacturer applied the GB4-2 High-Vacuum Induction Melting Furnace for 2kg-level melting and R&D of gold, silver, copper and special alloys. In actual use, the customer ran the system under an ultra-high vacuum of 6.67×10⁻³ Pa, which effectively eliminated oxidation, pores and inclusions and greatly improved alloy density.
The customer frequently used the vacuum secondary feeding function to add reactive elements (rare earth, aluminum, magnesium) without breaking vacuum, avoiding burning loss and ensuring high composition accuracy for complex alloys. The electromagnetic stirring function solved element segregation and made composition and structure highly uniform.
The customer operated the furnace via Siemens PLC onekey automatic control, which was stable and easy to use. The sixfold safety system worked reliably under high temperature and vacuum without any hidden dangers.
Final application results: precious metal products had uniform color and no oxidation; new alloys achieved precise composition and uniform structure; alloys for new energy and electronics showed high purity and few defects, greatly improving experimental success rate and production efficiency.
